Like Father’s Day gifts, sometimes deciding what to get for your Mother’s Day gifts can be a difficult task as well. So the question is—what should you get your mom? On one hand, like your father, you know she probably won’t openly balk over a certain gift…and you don’t want to make her feel unloved and unappreciated, so what should you get her?

Best Gifts

1. Teddy Bears. Teddy bears are cute, cuddly, and they’re loads of fun. You don’t have to worry about feeding them or washing them (all the time). They won’t bark at you all hours of the night and you don’t have to worry about a vet’s bill. Not to mention that they’re there for you when no one else is. You can tell a teddy bear all of your secrets and they’ll never judge you.

2. A homemade card. It doesn’t matter your age—a homemade card is something that will make your mom happy no matter what; that’s why it’s one of the best Mother’s Day gifts. Everyone loves a homemade card—it’s something special that you can show off.

3. Candy. Everyone loves candy, you love candy, and your mom is sure to love candy. Buy her a box of her favorite candy and let her munch away—it’ll bring a huge smile to her face!

4. Bath stuff. Get her something that she can pamper herself with, that she can enjoy herself with. Whether it’s bath tablets that allow her to change the color of the bath water (which is always fun) or soap roses that melt as she puts them in the bath water.

The best would have to be teddy bears. Why? Well, for one, they don’t go away. You can keep them and talk to them and just enjoy having them around. Teddy bears are cute—and awesome for this reason. They’re great Mother’s Day gifts!

Worst Gifts

1. Cooking utensils. This may offend your mom, depending on how sensitive she is. Let’s face it—this pretty much tells her to stay in the kitchen slaving for you and your siblings and father or anyone else in the house. An exception is if you happen to know that she likes collecting things in the kitchen, such as pretty ladles or the like.

2. Socks. Don’t buy your mom socks. Not unless you know she has cold feet and even then, at least make sure that they’re really, really pretty socks.

The worst gift in this case would probably have to be the cooking utensils. Moms aren’t really that big on giant packs of socks—just like dads, but you have to keep in mind that they’ll accept almost any gift…that doesn’t mean they won’t be offended if you just toss them a whole bunch of pots and pans, however.

Have fun picking out the perfect Mother’s Day gifts for your mom. After all, you only have one mom and she’s special to you—make sure that you get her something special to her!
